18 Work-Related Deaths In Province, Last Year

The Workers Compensation Board says 18 Nova Scotians died at work or because of their work, last year.

The Compensation Board says that’s a decrease from 24 work-related deaths in 2022.

However, it also says one workplace death is too many.

The Board says four Nova Scotians have died either at work, or because of their work so far, this year.

That includes two workplace deaths in the same week in February.
