by RCMP say they have a suspect in custody after issuing an Emergency Alert to Colchester, Cumberland, East Hants and Pictou counties, this morning.
They said officers were responding to a report of what they called a dangerous man with a firearm in the Hillcrest Avenue area of Bible Hill.
The Mounties were asking people in the area to shelter in place and close and lock their doors and windows.
They were also asking people to avoid the area.
