Three Teens Rescued In Woods Off Lingan Rd.

Regional Police say three teenage boys are safe after being found in the woods near Mary Joe Lane off Lingan Road last night.

They say the group called for help, saying they lost their way walking on a trail and didn’t know exactly where they came into the woods.

Police say dispatch operators were able to get GPS coordinates from the cell phone the boys used and the K9 unit tracked them down.

They go on to say the three were cold and wet and Search and Rescue brought them out of the woods in an Argo vehicle.

The boys were then examined and medically cleared by paramedics.
