NSCC Conciliation Talks Starting Today

Conciliation is starting today between the Nova Scotia Community College and the union for its instructors.

Thousands of members of the Atlantic Academic Union could go on strike, if the two sides can’t come to a collective agreement.

The union says the main outstanding issues are working conditions, job security and wages.

The Community College says its focus is reaching an agreement without the need for job action.

Tomorrow has also been set aside for conciliation talks.
