by Halifax Police say a 43 year-old man was killed at Irving Shipbuilding in Halifax, yesterday morning.
They say they got called to the workplace shortly after 11:30.
Police say the man was hit by a piece of equipment and pronounced dead at the scene.
They say the investigation is in the early stages and investigators from their Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and the provincial Department of Labour are investigating.
