New Apprentice Grants Announced

The province has announced two new grants for apprentices.

There’s a one-time grant of up to $1,000 to buy new tools, equipment and clothing.

A technology support grant offers up to $900 for a computer and accessories.

Apprentices have to be registered with the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency to be eligible for either grant.

Applications open on March 5th for the tools grant.

The technology grant is available now and all apprentices who are enrolled in technical training as of January can apply.
