Dominion Man Facing Numerous Charges, Including Human Trafficking

A 45-year-old Dominion man is due back in court next week as he faces a total of 64 charges, including two counts of human trafficking, involving as many as 17 people.

The charges against Paul Raymond Theriault date to between January 2008 and September in Dominion.

Theriault was arrested at his home in Dominion on Wednesday following an investigation that began in 2021 involving Regional Police, the RCMP and the Provincial Human Trafficking Unit.

RCMP say officers found evidence females were being video recorded without their consent and the videos were being posted and sold online.

Theriault made a brief provincial court appearance yesterday and is being held in custody ahead of a bail hearing on Tuesday.
