Province Seeking Input On New School Locations

The province is looking for public feedback as it decides where to build two new schools in the Regional Municipality.

The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education says reports on possible locations for the new Glace Bay Elementary School and the new Northside Middle School will be discussed at school advisory committee meetings next week.

It says public works staff will be on hand for the meetings.

The meeting on the Glace Bay school will be held on Tuesday of next week at Tompkins Elementary in Reserve Mines, while the Northside meeting will be held at Memorial High in Sydney Mines on Wednesday.

Both meetings are at 6:00 in the evening.

Feedback will be accepted until December 18th.
