CBU Soccer Day, Tomorrow

The Regional Municipality is honouring the Cape Breton University men’s soccer team’s recent win at the USPORTS National Championships tomorrow.

Mayor Amanda McDougall-Merrill, Regional Council and staff are welcoming the national champions to City Hall in Sydney at 11:00 in the morning.

Tomorrow will be declared CBU Soccer Day in the CBRM and a flag raising will follow. 

The Capers beat the Montreal Carabins 1-0 to claim the national championship at CBU on November 12th.
