Woman Facing Charges After Townsend Street Fire

A 32-year-old woman faces charges after a fire on Townsend Street in Sydney, early Tuesday morning.

Police say they got a complaint from the Cape Breton Housing Association about a person starting a container on fire outside their building.

Regional Fire Services put out the fire, and police say there was no damage to the building or any injuries.

Police say witnesses helped officers identify a suspect who was found and arrested on nearby Bentinck Street.

Margaret Joan Paul faces counts of arson with disregard for human life and breaches of conditions.
