Police Investigating Suspicious Disappearance After Report Of Possible Homicide

RCMP have identified the Millville woman whose disappearance is being called suspicious and they say they began investigating the case after getting a report about a possible homicide.

They say they learned about the disappearance of 48-year-old Natasha Leroy (pictured below) after they were told on Wednesday about a possible homicide at a home on Old Route 5 in Big Bras d’Or.

A search warrant is now being carried out at the home and a continuing investigation is being assisted by Regional Police.

Police say supports are being offered to Leroy’s family.

There’s no word yet on any charges or arrests.

Anyone with information on the case is being asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
