by The RCMP is in Millville today, investigating the disappearance of a 48-year-old woman.
The Mounties say investigators believe the circumstances around her disappearance are suspicious.
They say the investigation is still in the initial stages and no arrests have been made and no charges have been laid.
RCMP spokesperson Corporal Chris Marshall says the woman’s name and picture have not been released because they don’t know if they’re dealing with a missing person case or something more significant.
He says more information will be released this afternoon.
