More Funding Available For Healthcare Recruitment

A provincial funding stream is open again for groups looking for financial help to recruit and retain healthcare workers.

The Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment Community Fund was launched last year and offers up to $100,000 to help recruiting and retaining efforts.

The province says there were 28 successful applicants last year.

Groups that qualify include registered non-profit organizations and charity community groups, as well as cultural organizations, member-based organizations and boards, municipalities and chambers of commerce.

Applications have to be in by November 24th.
