Canada Post says the mail is moving again today in parts of the province where it’s safe to do collection and delivery.
All post offices in Nova Scotia were closed yesterday and mail collection and delivery were stopped while the Crown Corporation made safety assessments in the wake of heavy rain and flooding on the weekend.
It says most post offices have reopened today.
However, it says it’s issued a yellow alert for Nova Scotia, with mail services unavailable in some areas because of safety concerns or access problems.
