Virtual Urgent Care Available Through Friday

The Health Authority says its Virtual Urgent Care service is now being offered from 8:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night through Friday.

The service is available to all Nova Scotians with a valid health card, email and audio/video capable devices.

Nova Scotia Health says the service is for minor care needs ranging from prescription refills or renewals to mild strains and sprains, minor respiratory problems, tick bites and mental health concerns.

It’s also correcting the number people should call to access the service.

It says the number to call is 1-833-413-0277.
