Red Cross, New Deal Among Groups Helping People Affected By Wildfires

The Red Cross has launched a Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada Fires Appeal for people most affected by wildfires.

People can make a donation by visiting the Red Cross website, redcross.ca.

They can also call 1-800-418-1111.

Meanwhile, New Deal Development in Sydney Mines is collecting items   for the families affected by the wildfires in the province.

Items can be dropped off at the New Deal Office in the old Scotia Bank building on Main Street in Sydney Mines.
