Some Sydney Bus Stops To Move Temporarily

The Regional Municipality says Transit Cape Breton is moving some bus stops in downtown Sydney to adjust to the closure of sections of Charlotte Street for Phase 2 of the redevelopment plan.

It says the new stops will be in use starting on Monday until detours are no longer needed.

The Route 10 stop at Falmouth and Charlotte will be moved forward to in front of Al’s Bookstore.

Routes 5, 8 and 12 will stop at a new stop on Esplanade in front of the Holiday Inn parking lot.

All routes leaving the downtown area leave from the hub at George and Pitt Streets.
