Marine Atlantic Fuel Surcharge Going Up

Marine Atlantic is increasing the fuel surcharge for its customers on June 1^st.

The Crown Corporation says the surcharge is going up from 13 percent to 17 percent.

It says the higher surcharge is tied to the average fuel price it pays.

It says the fuel surcharge will be updated twice a year, on June 1^st and December 1^st.
