Thompson Making Emergency Dept. Announcement Tomorrow

The province says Health Minister Michelle Thompson and Nova Scotia Health CEO Karen Oldfield will make an announcement tomorrow on actions to improve care in emergency departments.

Thompson and Premier Tim Houston met today with various groups in the healthcare sector as opposition parties continue to call on the government to do more to deal with stresses on the health system.

Tomorrow’s announcement is scheduled for 9:45 in the morning and will be livestreamed on the government’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
