Premier Tim Houston and Health Minister Michelle Thompson will be hosting what’s being called “a summit of healthcare partners” tomorrow.
The province says the meeting will include representatives from regulatory colleges, professional associations, educational institutions, unions and service providers.
Houston and Thompson will speak with reporters after the meeting.
The meeting is being planned as opposition parties call on the government to do more to deal with stresses on the health system following two recent cases where women died after waiting for hours in hospital emergency departments.
