by A Glace Bay man is now due back in court next month as he stands accused in the death of 42-year-old Christopher Allan Reid in Dominion nearly two years ago.
31-year-old Jarrot Bradley Currie made an appearance by video link today.
Currie is facing a charge of second-degree murder after what Regional Police call an extensive investigation.
Police say they got reports on the morning of January 31, 2021 about an injured man on the sidewalk on Mitchell Avenue.
They say paramedics treated the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Police say they’re treating the case as isolated.
Currie is due back in court to enter a plea on February 14th.
