Mobile Respiratory Clinics Coming To Sydney

The provincial Health Authority says it’s offering a series of mobile respiratory clinics at the Grand Lake Road Fire Hall in Sydney this month.

The first clinic will be held tomorrow from 5-8 in the evening.

The others will be held on Thursdays from 5-8 in the evening and Sundays from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening up to and including January 29th.

The Health Authority says the clinics are not an emergency service and will deal with non-urgent respiratory problems.

It says concerns that may be addressed at the clinics include the flu, COVID-19 or RSV, as well as shortness of breath, cough, ear pain or a sore throat.

Appointments can be booked by phone by calling (902) 574-3275.

Phone lines will open at 3:30 p.m. on clinic days taking place from 5p.m. to 8 p.m.

Phone lines for the Sunday clinics will open at 9 a.m.
