Christmas Retires From Senate

Independent Senator Dan Christmas has retired from the Senate.

Christmas announced his retirement in the Red Chamber yesterday.

He was appointed to the Senate by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2016.

The 66-year-old served as a senior advisor to the Membertou band before his Senate appointment.
