Kenzie MacNeil Awarded Order Of Nova Scotia, Posthumously

The late Kenzie MacNeil from Sydney is being awarded the Order of Nova Scotia, posthumously.

MacNeil is being recognized for his outstanding contributions to the arts through theatre and music, including his song “The Island.”

Also receiving the Order of Nova Scotia is Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Robert Strang for his for leadership throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

They’re join by Black Business Initiative founder Rustum Southwell, Hope for Wildlife founder and director Hope Swinimer, and Bedford author and historian, John Boileau.
