by Regional Police say the 28 year-old Alder Point man who was shot on Oram Drive in Florence has died in hospital from his injuries.
Police say the man’s name is not being released at the request of his family.
Police say Brandon Tyler Mackinnon is now facing a new charge of First Degree Murder in the shooting.
He’s also been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Careless Use of a Firearm, Pointing a Firearm and Breaches of a Release Order.
Police say both men knew each other.
