by The trick or treating hours in the Regional Municipality are from 5:30 this evening until 7:30 tonight on this Halloween.
The other four municipalities on the Island have set 8:00 tonight as the cut off time for trick or treating.
Regional Police say trick or treaters should dress in bright colours and use reflective tape.
Police say they should go up one side of a street and down the other to avoid needless street crossings.
Drivers are being asked to reduce speed and pay extra attention.
