People Can Now Book Appointments For Pfizer’s Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccine

The province says people 12 and older can now book an appointment to get Pfizer’s bivalent COVID-19 vaccine.

Moderna’s COVID-19 bivalent vaccine is also available to people 18 and older.

The Health Department says both bivalent vaccines are safe and effective and people should choose the first available appointment rather than waiting for a specific brand of vaccine.

The Department says people should wait 168 days since getting their last COVID-19 vaccine before getting another dose.

The same waiting period applies to people who’ve had COVID.
