Province Reporting 15 More COVID-19 Deaths

The province says there have been 15 COVID-19 deaths in its latest weekly reporting period that ended on Monday.   

New monthly data show the number of reported COVID-19 deaths in the province increased in August, while hospitalizations and reported cases were down.

A total of 33 deaths were reported last month after 22 deaths in July.

208 people in the province were hospitalized because of COVID-19 in August.

That’s down from 226 the month before.

The number of PCR positive tests last month was over 6,800, compared to over 8,600 in July.
