Prison sentences were handed down today for a Sydney Mines woman and her three daughters who have been found guilty in a multimillion-dollar tax fraud case.
Lydia Saker, Nadia Saker, Angela Macdonald and Georgette Young were convicted in February on 10 counts each of fraud and filing false statements with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Lydia Saker has been given a 24-month sentence, while both Macdonald and Nadia Saker have been sentenced to 36 months.
Young has been sentenced to 48 months.
