The grant of up to 500 dollars helps seniors with everyday household expenses so they can stay in their homes longer.
The money can be used on services up to November 30th.
People have to be65 or older to qualify.
They also have to live independently in a home they own or rent, with an annual net household income of 37,500 dollars or less.
Applications can be done online, and forms are available at Access Nova Scotia and MLA offices.
