Province Selects Members Of Childcare Consultation Group

The province says twenty-one people from across Nova Scotia have been chosen to join the Early Learning and Child Care Engagement Table.

The Table is meant to provide input as the province transitions to a publicly funded daycare system.

Helen Gamble Mortimer, who owns Health Park Early Learning Centre next to the Regional Hospital in Sydney, is one of the Table members.

They will meet for the first time next month.

The government says it got 250 applications from people interested in being Table members.
