Cape Breton’s Unemployment Rate Hits 14.8 Percent In April

Stats Canada says Cape Breton’s unemployment rate was 14.8 percent in April.

That’s up 1.2 percentage points from March.

Meanwhile, the national unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percentage point in April to 5.2 percent.

Nova Scotia’s unemployment rate was 6.9 percent, last month.
