Power Outage In Sydney Mines

Classes at Sydney Mines Middle School are dismissing at noon because of a power outage.

Meanwhile, 19-hundred customers in Sydney Mines are affected by the outage.

Nova Scotia Power says it was caused by a vehicle crash and the estimated restoration time is 1:15 this afternoon.

There’s no more information on the crash, at this time.
