Today Marks Second Anniversary Of Mass Shooting In Province

Today marks the second anniversary of the start of the mass shooting in the province.

On April 18, 2020, a gunman started a 13-hour rampage that would leave a total of 22 people dead.

He was killed by two RCMP officers on April 19th while he sat in a car at a gas station in Enfield.

Premier Tim Houston says the province will bring in legislation this fall to establish April 18th and 19th as provincial days of remembrance.

People in the province are being asked to take a moment of silence at noon today and tomorrow.
