MacMaster Releases Capital Plan

Finance Minister Allan MacMaster released the Province’s 2022-23 Capital Plan this afternoon.

Highlights of the $1.5 billion plan include $464.6 million for the healthcare redevelopment projects in the Regional Municipality and Halifax and $80.9 million to continue work on the new Community College in Sydney and begin new residences at the college’s Akerley, Pictou and Ivany campuses.

Work will also be done on the North Sydney Overpass on the 125 Sydney bypass.

MacMaster also announced today the government’s first budget will be delivered on Tuesday.
