Federal Liberals And NDP Announce Deal To Prop Up Liberal Minority Government

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a deal with the NDP today to prop up the Liberal minority government.

The deal will see the government moving on NDP priorities including national pharmacare and dental plans.

Trudeau says the confidence-and-supply agreement is not a formal coalition.

He says the Liberals are willing to work with other parties in areas the Grits and NDP don’t agree.
