COVID Briefing This Afternoon Ahead Of Plan To Lift Restrictions On Monday

Premier Tim Houston and chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang are giving a COVID-19 update, this afternoon.

The briefing comes with the province scheduled to remove all remaining COVID restrictions on Monday including gathering limits, physical distancing and mask wearing.

However, Strang says he’s still strongly recommending masks in indoor public places.

Yesterday, the province’s Pediatric Pandemic Advisory Group recommended masks be worn in schools until at least mid-April.

This afternoon’s briefing is scheduled to start at 3:15 and will be streamed live online.
