The price of gas and diesel went up for the third time in less than a week overnight after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause, again.
Gas jumped by 10.9 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.88.1 in Cape Breton.
Diesel went up by 9.5 cents and now costs a minimum of $2.01.6 cents on the Island.
The UARB says it stepped in to adjust prices early because of significant changes in market prices caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
