Province Reporting Two COVID-19 Deaths, Four Hospitalizations, 217 Cases

The province is reporting two more COVID-19 deaths today, as well as four new hospital admissions.

Health officials say those who died were a woman in her 70’s and a woman in her 90’s, both in the Central Zone.

As of late this afternoon, there were 48 people in the province in hospital after being admitted because of COVID-19, including 11 people in intensive care.

217 more lab confirmed cases of the virus are also being reported today.

Of those cases, 97 are in the Central Zone, with 33 in the Eastern Zone, 34 in the Northern Zone and 53 in the Western Zone.
