The province is reporting seven COVID-19 deaths today, as well as six new hospital admissions and four discharges.
Health officials say one of those who died was a man in his 30’s in the Central Zone.
The other six people ranged in age from their 60’s to their 80’s.
As of late this afternoon, there was a total of 45 people in hospital after being admitted because of COVID-19, including ten people in intensive care.
The province is reporting 243 new lab-confirmed cases today, while 322 new cases were reported both yesterday and Saturday.
Health officials say there will be an increase in lab-confirmed cases because people with positive rapid tests are now able to confirm those results with PCR tests.
