Province Reporting Two COVID-19 Deaths, Five Hospitalizations, 170 Cases

The province is reporting two more COVID-19 deaths today, as well as five more hospitalizations.

Health officials say those who died were a man and woman in their 80s, both in the Eastern Zone.

As of late this afternoon, there was a total of 44 people in the province in hospital after being admitted because of COVID-19, including 11 people in intensive care.

170 more lab-confirmed cases of the virus are also being reported today.

Of those cases, 64 are in the Central Zone, with 42 in the Eastern Zone, 25 in the Northern Zone and 39 in the Western Zone.
