Claudia Chender Running For NDP Leadership

The provincial NDP have the first official candidate in their leadership race.

Dartmouth South MLA Claudia Chender announced this morning she plans to run for the job.

Chender said in January she was considering a leadership bid.

Gary Burrill announced in November he plans to step down as leader.

Voting in the party’s leadership will start on June 20^th with results to follow on June 25^th.
