Regional Council Votes To Hire Consultant For Boundary Review

Regional Councillors voted at last night’s meeting to pay a consultant up to 50-thousand dollars to carry out a district boundary review.

Provincial law requires the municipality to review its boundaries and number of councillors by the end of the year.

The vote on the motion to hire a consultant was 10-3 with councillors James Edwards, Lorne Green and Steve Parsons voting against it.
