Work Underway On Roof Of Northside General

The provincial Health Authority says work is underway to replace a portion of the roof at the Northside General Hospital in North Sydney that was damaged by high winds in the fall.

The work is expected to take two to three weeks, depending on the weather.

While the work is underway, people will still be able to get into the building but they’re asked to use caution and follow any signs in place.

People are also being reminded to follow COVID-19 measures, including visitor restrictions, social distancing, wearing a non-medical mask and good hand hygiene.
