Province Reporting 16 More COVID-19 Hospitalizations, 601 Cases, State Of Emergency Extension

The province is reporting 16 more people have been hospitalized because of COVID-19, while three others have been released from hospital and the COVID-19 State of Emergency is being extended.

There are now 94 people in the province who are in hospital after being admitted because of COVID-19, including 13 people in intensive care.

Meanwhile, 601 new lab-confirmed cases are being reported today, including 269 in the Central Zone, 120 in the Eastern Zone, 49 in the Northern Zone and 163 in the Western Zone.

The State of Emergency is being extended until February 6th.
