CBU Delaying January Start Of Classes By A Week

Cape Breton University is delaying the first week of classes after the Christmas break by a week because of COVID-19.

CBU says classes will now start on January 17th instead of January 10th.

It says the university’s nursing program is the only exception.

The university says employees will still return to work on January 4th and all student support services will be offered in person.

CBU says what its calling a slow and controlled approach will allow it to decrease the population density on campus as people return from the holiday break.
