178 New COVID Cases Reported

The province is reporting 178 new cases of COVID-19 today.

There are 113 new cases in the Central Zone, with 55 in the Eastern Zone, five in the Northern Zone and five in the Western Zone.

There’s now a total of 516 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Six of those cases are in the Regional Municipality.

That’s up from four yesterday.

Six people in the province are in hospital with COVID-19, including two people in intensive care.

Health officials say no one in the Eastern Zone has been hospitalized with the virus.
