People Who’ve Had COVID-19 Being Told To Expect Follow-up Call

The Health Authority says its contacting people16 and older who’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19 to determine if they’re experiencing any persistent COVID symptoms.

It says evidence shows COVID-19 patients could experience symptoms long after they no longer have the virus.

It says people will be contacted by phone, and asked screening questions in a process it says should take no longer than five minutes.

Nova Scotia Health says the call will come from an unknown number and people are asked to take the call.

People who miss the call or would rather complete screening questions online can visit MyCOVIDRecoveryNS.ca.
