Case Of COVID-19 At Cape Breton University Biology Class

Cape Breton University says it was notified by Public Health last night there was a confirmed case of COVID-19 in a classroom on campus on the evening of December 7th.

The class is Biology 2203L-14.

The university says it expects close contacts will be notified today.

It says exams will go ahead in person today but a decision on the rest of exams will be made in consultation with Public Health.

However, CBU is asking everyone to move any in-person meetings to an online format out of what it’s calling an abundance of caution.
