The Coast 89.7 is off-air this morning after high winds knocked out power to a large swath of Glace Bay, including the Coast’s transmitter.
Over 700 Glace Bay customers are without electricity this morning, in a large area centred on Main Street.
There are currently 26 active outages across the province, including scattered outages in Sydney, Lingan, and New Victoria.
Nova Scotia Power estimates they’ll be able to restore service by a quarter to six this evening.
